Who performs the work

Alderwood Heat & Cool Pros connects you with independent, L&I-registered HVAC contractors who perform the work. Every HVAC contractor we send is registered with Washington L&I, licensed where Washington requires it, and insured. Alderwood Heat & Cool Pros and this website are not a contractor and do not perform HVAC work. The independent contractor who comes to your home is responsible for the work, its permits and any workmanship warranty it offers. References to “we” providing service describe this answering and dispatch service and do not mean the brand itself is registered or licensed as a contractor. You can confirm any contractor’s registration in the Washington L&I contractor lookup.

Estimates and pricing

We provide a diagnosis and a price before performing repair work, and you approve the work before it begins. Any estimates, including replacement estimates, are based on the information available at the time and may change if conditions differ once work begins — for example, hidden damage or additional parts. After-hours, weekend and holiday service may be billed at different rates, which we disclose before work starts. Prices and any figures mentioned on this website are for general information only and are not quotes.

Scheduling and availability

We answer calls 24 hours a day and dispatch the nearest available contractor. We do not guarantee a specific arrival time, because travel time depends on your location, the time of day and current demand. We prioritize genuine emergencies and households with vulnerable residents.

Rebates, tax credits and manufacturer programs

Utility rebates, manufacturer incentives and tax credits change frequently and are subject to the terms of the utility, manufacturer or taxing authority. We may identify programs that could apply, but we do not guarantee eligibility or any amount. Confirm current terms directly with the relevant program and your tax advisor.

Gas leaks and carbon monoxide

If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the building and call 911 and Puget Sound Energy at 1-888-225-5773 from outside before contacting us. Nothing on this website replaces emergency services.

Use of this website

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or submit false information through the request form. The content on this site is provided for general information and does not replace a professional inspection or advice for your specific situation.
